Job Description – Junior Chef

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Junior Chef to join our kitchen team. This is a great opportunity for someone starting their culinary journey or looking to gain hands-on experience in a busy hospitality environment. You'll assist with food preparation, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and support the smooth operation of our restaurant.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation and cooking of meals under guidance
• Maintain the cleanliness of workstations and kitchen tools
• Follow proper food safety and hygiene practices
• Help with storing, labelling, and organizing ingredients
• Support the team during busy meal times and special events

Required Skills & Attributes:

• Basic understanding of cooking and food preparation
• Ability to work well in a team and take direction
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
• Commitment to maintaining kitchen hygiene standards
• Previous experience in a kitchen is a plus, but not required
