Job Overview:

 

Welcome to the RoboticGen Academy team! We are glad to have you join us as a Sales & Customer Relations Intern. Your role is crucial in helping us achieve our mission of providing top-notch educational experiences. Roles and Responsibilities:

 

Handling Sales Calls:

 

  • Manage sales calls via standard phone line and WhatsApp during business hours. Take detailed notes in the system for all calls.
  • Update the CRM and follow up with leads promptly.

 

Physical Office Day:

 

  • Attend the office every Saturday from 8 AM to 4 PM.

 

Student Onboarding to the System:

 

  • Convert new student details and status from lead to internal student.

 

Selling Academy Products:

 

  • Process payments for student enrolments.
  • Collect monthly subscription payments.
  • Handle sales and payments for hardware and software tools.
  • Maintain timely receipt updates in the system.

 

Work Commitment:

 

  • Average of 40 hours per week, including physical office day attendance.

 

Other:

 

  • Meet team KPIs and attend all relevant meetings on time.
  • Collaborate with RGen teams and support marketing and academy initiatives.
  • Handle customer conflict resolution.
  • Report directly to top management.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or Technology preferred; exceptional candidates with Advanced Levels will be considered.
  • Previous experience in sales, operations, and business development—particularly in education.
  • Demonstrated leadership through school societies and extracurricular activities.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work in teams.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and achieve sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Sinhala and English.
  • Clear understanding of RoboticGen's vision and mission, with demonstrated alignment.
  • Genuine passion for education, technology, and innovation.
  • Adaptability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

 

Commitment:

 

  • This is a full-time position that includes a minimum of 40 hours per week commitment, and a part-time basis can also be considered for a very strong candidate.
  • Calling hours:
  • Full-time: 12 PM - 9 PM weekdays and Saturday 9 AM - 6 PM
  • Part-time: 6 PM - 9 PM weekdays and Saturday 9 AM - 6 PM

 

 

Remuneration and Contract Details:

 

Contract Type:

 

6-month position from date of offer.

 

Payments:

 

  • Full-time:
  • Monthly basic salary of 20,000 LKR.
  • Monthly performance-based financial rewards according to company sales targets and policies up to LKR 20,000 monthly
  • Bonuses for achieving company financial goals
  • Part-time (Exceptional candidates):
  • Monthly basic allowance of 10,000 LKR
  • Full payment after successful completion of the contract 60,000 LKR
  • Earn up to LKR 50,000 additional bonus based on meeting monthly sales targets throughout the contract period

 

Contract Termination:

 

Three-month notice period required.
