Executive - Autonomation - Mechanical Engineering - MAS Kreeda Balangoda

We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to ensure the smooth functioning and maintenance of Autonomation projects within the plant, whilst providing necessary guidance in order to provide an uninterrupted service, thereby facilitating factory operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the autonomation projects that are carried out through the Autonomation Centre in order to ensure the objectives and timelines are met.
• Engage in carrying out PFMEA on the relevant projects and finalize the relevant specifications.
• Prepare 3D designs and animations for the prototypes whilst designing and fabricating electronic circuits pertaining to automation initiatives.
• Prepare the Manufacturing and electrical drawings required in a detailed manner, and also compile the Mechanical and Electrical 
  BOQs whilst engaging in completing the procurement work of projects in an effective manner.
• Coordinate with the Internal Mechanical/ Electrical teams, engage in carrying out prototype developments and commercialization of the automation projects, whilst liaising with contacts from external workshops and resource persons wherever necessary.
• Coordinate and oversee the maintenance of Machines and equipment of the Autonomation Centre, Spare parts and Material Purchasing, etc. in order to maintain the required standards for the same.
• Liaise with external integrators and consultants on developing work packages or turnkey projects in order to achieve project objectives.
• Monitor the weekly project plan and update the same in an accurate and timely manner.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or Equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in carrying out automation projects with hands-on experience in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Microcontroller Programming.
• Knowledge of Mechanical Design and Electronic Technology.
• Good communication skills and IT literacy.
