Job Profile:

• Assist the Relationship Managers in monitoring utilization of credit facilities, calling/soliciting more business and maximizing utilization of credit limits at operational level in the company
• Prepare MIS data/ reports required by the team
• Obtain Financial Statements on facility renewals, stock statements, etc and prepare spreadsheets of clients to aid in Risk Analysis
• Coordinate with branches to facilitate transaction processing in the portfolio
• Coordinate with trade, treasury and credit administration units to facilitate seamless transaction processing and disbursement of facilities
• Follow up on repayment of loans/excesses and documentation discrepancies, and maintain a zero-discrepant portfolio
• Raise daily excess approvals, inward clearing and daily monitoring of the over-line report
• Raise internal instructions on loan recoveries, RTGS transfers and other transfer instructions
• Handle cash-backed facilities of Commercial Banking clients
• Carry out customer visits independently as and when required
• Monitor covenants/conditions of approved credit facilities and provide monthly updates to RM’s and MME unit head
• Handle customer inquiries, attend to routine correspondence and ensure up-to-date maintenance of credit files
• Coordinate with relevant units in carrying out stock inspections on a regular basis

Special Skills:

• Knowledge pertaining to Credit, Trade Financing, Credit Administration and Banking Operations
• Conversant in MS Office applications with a reasonable typing speed
• Knowledge of Finance / Accounting is preferred

Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Bank / Financial Institute
• A part qualification in Banking (completion of the four subjects at CBF Level) or CIM/CIMA
