Assistant Director (Province) – National Youth Corps 

• Nature of Appointment : Will be recruited on contract basis subject to a maximum period of 03 years for this post. Will not be recited on permanent basis and will be entitled to Employees Provident Fund (EPF) and Employees Trust Fund (ETF).

  Qualifications : 

1. Should have fulfilled a service pe1iod of at least three (03) years in the position of Major in Sri Lanka Army, or in a similar position in Sri Lanka Air Force I Sri Lanka Navy with a General Degree.

or

2. Should have fulfilled a service period of at least five (05) years in the position of Lieutenant Colonel in Sri Lanka Army or in a similar  position in Sri Lanka Air Force / Sri Lanka Navy.

or

3. Should have completed a service period of five (05) years in the recruiting grade of an all island service.

• Age : Should not exceed 50 years as at the date of recruitment. When considering the age of a released / discharged serviceman, action will be taken as per 17.1 (a) of tl1e Establishment Code. 
• Salary Scale : A standard monthly stipend of Rs. 53,175/- is entitled to this post. Further, if you are a pensioner, you will receive only half of the Cost of Living Allowance.
• Duties entrusted to the Post : Supervision of the entire staff including the Officers in-charge of all centers in the Provinces and trainees, Discipline and Welfare of the entire staff and trainees, recruitment / enrolment of trainees, organizing the conclusion/ end events, organizing various programmers within the province, Responsibility of all the centers of the province and safety of property, coordination with tl1e headquarters.
