The Group Electrical, Energy & ELV Engineer is responsible for carry-out Sewing machine electronic repairs, Non-Sewing machine electronic repairs, non-sewing machine preventive maintenance and managing the maintenance of the ELV (Extra Low Voltage) across the Group. Responsible for implementing energy-related projects or programs to reduce energy costs, improve energy efficiency and implementing and monitoring the approved ELV projects / initiatives for the assigned pillar and conducting audits as required. The role holder guides the electronic technician team and Non-Sewing Machine PPM team. Also works on electronic related training and functional improvement projects (for example, automation & innovation).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for conducting in-house PPM of group non-sewing machines and coordinate with third party service providers for repairs and services.
• Responsible for Sewing machine electronic repairs process at MMC and support plant electronic technicians.
• Implement energy-related projects or programs to reduce energy costs or improve energy efficiency.
• Responsible for planning and execution of the identified ELV projects for the concerned pillar.
• Liaise with external stakeholders for effective implementation of ELV initiatives.
• Conduct and coordinate electronic and automation related training across the Group.
• Lead In-house PPM team/ electronic maintenance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelors / Diploma in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• 3 to 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role in plant electronic & electrical related maintenance.
• Good communication skills, analytical skills, working knowledge of IT systems/Microsoft packages.
• Innovative thinking.
