About the Job 

Qualifications:

External 

1. A Degree in the Commerce field, which is recognized by the U.G.C.

Or

2. Having passed the Intermediate Examination of a recognized professional Chartered Institute, of which the subject area is relevant to the post. 

 Internal

1. Having obtained the qualification required by the external candidates above.

Or

2. Completion of a minimum of five (05) years satisfactory service in a post of the Management Assistant non-technological (MA 1-2) Grade II, in the subject area relevant to the post

Method of Recruitment: 

By a competitive written examination and/or a structured interview conducted by the council

Nature of Appointment 

Permanent and entitlement of EPF and ETF

Salary Scale:

Rs.74 ,010-/,1360 /- x10, 2,040/- x 18 - 124,330/-

Basic Salary 

Rs.59,552/- as at 2025.01.01 as per MSD Circular 01/2025 

Age Limit:

Should not be less than 22 years and not more than 45 years 

General Conditions:

• Should be a citizen of Sri Lanka 
• Should be physically and mentally fit to discharge the duties of the post and to serve in any part of the country
• Should be of good moral character
