Job Description

• We are looking for open-minded, self-driven undergraduates in Accounting and Finance to join our dynamic R&D Finance team in Colombo. This entry-level role provides an excellent opportunity for aspiring accounting professionals to gain hands-on experience and launch their careers at the intersection of finance and technology.
• As a Trainee Finance Product Specialist, you will be involved in interpreting and analyzing business requirements, contributing to the development of robust, enterprise-grade software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications under the mentorship of senior Product Specialists.
• Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, functional design, testing, documentation, and support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into effective software solutions.
• Keep up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies relevant to software development.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by contributing to the enhancement of processes and methodologies.

Qualifications:

We are seeking candidates who demonstrate the following qualifications and attributes:
 

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related professional qualification.
• Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills, with the ability to interpret complex information.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to articulate ideas clearly and collaborate effectively.
• A proactive mindset with a positive, results-oriented attitude.
• Ability to thrive in a globally distributed team environment.
• Willingness and ability to work on-site at our office in Colombo, Sri Lanka
