Manager, Acquisitions & Business Development

We are looking for a dynamic and ambitious individual to join our team as Manager, Acquisitions & Business Development at Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts. Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is Sri Lanka’s largest hotel owner, with a portfolio of 17 hotels and resorts across Sri Lanka and the Maldives. Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, the largest listed conglomerate in Sri Lanka.

About the Role:

• Identify and evaluate new opportunities for hotel expansion in Sri Lanka and overseas.
• Conduct detailed financial feasibility studies and investment appraisals for projects.
• Lead financial modelling and valuation of acquisition and development opportunities.
• Support the property acquisition process locally and internationally.
• Facilitate negotiations and execution of agreements with business partners.
• Contribute to investor relations by preparing investor material and liaising with investors and regulatory authorities.
• Drive strategic business development initiatives to strengthen Cinnamon’s presence regionally and globally.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven individual with:

• A strong background in finance, investment analysis, or corporate development.
• A professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in acquisitions, investment banking, consulting, corporate finance, or a related field.
• Strong financial modelling, analytical, and valuation skills.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
• The ability to work with diverse stakeholders and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel locally and internationally based on business needs.
