We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to ensure that all activities from the receipt of the ‘Proto request’ until the buy process is carried out in an effective manner in order to achieve the sales budgets, thereby meeting business objectives and customer satisfaction through high service levels, maximizing sales revenue.
We are seeking for an individual to conduct continuous improvements for production-related operations, whilst engaging in SMV analysis, in order to maintain planned production efficiencies whilst increasing productivity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify bottlenecks/ select low performing Operators whilst, carrying out time, capacity and production studies in order to enhance efficiencies thereby, improving productivity.
- Prepare the skill development plan for Operators and follow-up to ensure the required skill levels are achieved whilst getting involved in the Star grading system and verifying Team Members skills for Star grading.
- Ensure adherence to organizational standards such as SOPs, compliance standards, health and safety and 5S in day-to-day activities whilst leading MOS initiatives such as PDCAs, Kaizen and other special projects within the team.
- Check the line loading plan and identify new/ repeat styles in relevant modules whilst preparing for new styles by carrying out the following activities in a timely manner.
- Facilitate bulk production for new styles by carrying out the following activities in a timely manner.
- Ensure smooth Style Change Over and drive the team to achieve set targets by performing the following activities.
- Organize on the job training programs on a weekly basis by coordinating with the IE Executives and identifying operators who face any technical-related issues, thereby directing them to relevant training school instructors to obtain necessary skills/ knowledge.
- Allocate relevant/ new resources from the training school/ skill bank for layout changes, skill gap identifications, and follow up on the performance of the same whilst evaluating/ track the efficiency level.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Degree in Textile Technology or NDT from a relevant institute.
- 1 - 2 years of experience in a similar capacity.
