Executive - Sourcing - MAS Kreeda Biyagama

Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS. We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to maintain supplier 100% DIFOT with 100% PO on time placement to suppliers and ensure RM on time delivery to relevant locations while maintaining Dock to Dock. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Share raw material Purchase Orders raised by the procurement team with the suppliers to ensure goods are delivered to the plants on time.
• Ensure on-time PO placements to allocated suppliers and check through reports to ensure system accuracy, such as the portal.
• Maintain accurate raw material tracking sheets in order to pass accurate information to the plant connect team.
• Obtain and analyze delivery charts from the allocated suppliers in a timely manner & collaborate with allocated suppliers one week prior to the delivery date to ensure 100% DIFOT.
• Schedule delivery meetings with suppliers to receive an update on the current delivery status & engage with overseas suppliers for delivery calls on a timely manner to ensure on-time delivery
• Analyze Raw material delays by allocated suppliers & collaborate with suppliers for the raw materials delays and ensure they still meet RM commitment to minimize final impact to production.
• Collaborate with the plant connect team to get accurate quality issues timely & address any quality issues of the delivered goods when identified to the respective supplier.
• Manage Raw materials Stock and claim recoveries related to the cost of failures.
• Liaise with relevant departments and suppliers on a regular basis to ensure the timely completion of selected projects.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Degree/ Diploma in a relevant field
• Qualifications in Merchandising/ Marketing - Advantageous
• 4 - 5 years of relevant work experience, which includes Merchandising
• Knowledge of Fabric, Embellishments, Styles, Samples
• Sound knowledge of MS Office applications and the SAP System
• Strong Analytical skills
• Good Communication/ Interpersonal skills
