Intern ‐ Branding & Communications - MAS Kreeda Biyagama

MAS KREEDA, is a division of MAS Holdings, exclusively producing high-performance sportswear for Nike. With manufacturing facilities in Jordan, Indonesia, and Sri Lanka, MAS KREEDA delivers a competitive edge by offering quick market access and ensuring top-tier quality control. The division's product range includes Bodywear, Knit, Fleece, Tees, Woven, Sweaters, Engineered Knit, and Bras, showcasing its diverse expertise in sportswear manufacturing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Assist in developing engaging content (posts, captions, stories, reels) for internal and external platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Workplace, etc.)
• Help schedule and manage the content calendar.
• Capture photos and videos during events or daily operations to build visual content archives.
• Help coordinate internal engagement campaigns, town halls, or celebration days.
• Support in logistics, promotion materials and communication for events.
• Assist in reviewing materials to ensure alignment with brand guidelines.
• Work with design tools (e.g. Canva, Illustrator) to create simple visuals, posters or internal communication templates.
• Draft internal newsletters, announcements, employee highlights or success stories.
• Support with translating key messages into creative formats.
• Monitor trends in social media, employer branding and communication practices.
• Provide fresh ideas for employee engagement and external visibility.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: 

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Marketing or Media.
• Strong writing and verbal communication (English essential,  Sinhala and Tamil plus).
• Familiarity with design tools like Canva, Adobe Suite or video editing basics.
• Comfortable with social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Photography and videography skills
• Creative thinking, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and proactive attitude.
• Passion for storytelling and interest in branding or culture.
