Intimates’ customers include Victoria’s Secret, Gap, and Calvin Klein. The division's innovation teams collaborate with universities and experts to deliver consumer-driven, technology-led solutions.

Join the Intimates team as a designer team to work in collaboration with Senior Designers to carry out research/analysis of latest styles/trends/seasonal concepts in the fashion industry and effectively come up with conceptual design ideas which can be converted to commercially viable products that either satisfies a need or solves a consumer problem whilst being trend right/brand relevant and technically feasible in order to meet customer requirements such as aesthetics, design intent & fit. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

  • Collaborate with Senior Designers to research market trends, competitor brands, and emerging products.
  • Identify opportunities for new designs based on consumer, customer, and brand needs (e.g. new materials, silhouettes, prints, graphics, embellishments).
  • Use market insights to create trend-forward, customer-relevant seasonal collections.
  • Align all design work with agreed seasonal timelines and brand aesthetics.
  • Learn the technical aspects and tolerances of raw materials like fabric, lace, elastics, trims, etc.
  • Support Senior Designers in sourcing and developing materials that meet design and functional needs.
  • Test and evaluate materials to ensure they are suitable for the garment during development, sampling, and production.
  • Understand how processes like cutting, printing, molding, and bonding impact materials and garment feasibility.
  • Work with sourcing and Raw Material teams to ensure materials meet performance and production criteria.
  • Ensure the timely availability of materials for sampling by coordinating with sourcing and development teams.
  • Create on-brand design sketches and technical drawings based on briefs.
  • Work with technical and merchandising teams to assess feasibility, update systems, and communicate changes.
  • Ensure timely sample development aligned with design intent.
  • Support cost engineering by working with pattern makers and industrial engineers to balance design with cost and construction needs.
  • Understand different garment construction methods (e.g., sewing, bonding, moulding) to maintain design quality and fit.
  • Begin using tools like Clo 3D, Browzwear, and Beyond XR to create digital samples for better visualization and customer presentations.
  • Participate in fit reviews and prototype evaluations, providing input on design, fit, and cost alignment.
  • Track and maintain fit history and ensure new designs align with brand-specific measurements and benchmarks.
  • Assist in preparing final samples and visuals (e.g. photo shoot samples, storyboards, presentations).
  • Maintain all design documentation: research, style files, tech packs, trims/fabric info, T&As, fit records, etc.
  • Keep records up-to-date and organized to support sample production and customer presentations.
  • Collaborate with all internal teams (fabric techs, merch, sourcing, technical, etc.) to support smooth development from concept to sample.

 

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Degree in Fashion Design or related field preferred. 
  • 1-2 years of Prior design experience in the apparel industry would be highly advantageous
  • Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Excel, PowerPoint and PLM
  • Ability to hand sketch is an advantage
  • Knowledge and ability to adapt into 3D product creation platforms 
  • Must be technically skilled having a good understanding of product construction, silhouettes, 
    fit and fabrications.
  • Collaborative mindset and active participation to achieving common goals
