Intern- Lean Enterprise - MAS Intimates Rathmalana

Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS as we are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to join MAS Intimates as an Intern-Lean Enterprise. This role would enable you to support in effectively carrying out assigned responsibilities by applying lean principles and tools within sub-projects, aiming to improve current processes to future-state goals through continuous improvement, ultimately enhancing productivity and quality within the Business Unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and regularly update project data sets to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
• Manage and track project progress using project management tools.
• Support in facilitating and capturing key learnings from consultant visits and internal resource persons, ensuring they are documented for ongoing business improvement.
• Generate reports, graphs, and visual displays to communicate lean implementation progress and support decision-making on the production floor.
• Assist in identifying and implementing opportunities to enhance productivity and quality through lean initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate or Degree in one of the following or a related field: Lean Manufacturing, Textile Technology, Physical Science / Applied Mathematics, Engineering disciplines (Textile / Mechanical / Electronics / Chemical / Production / Industrial), Business Administration / Statistics, or Fashion Design & Product Development.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving mindset
• Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies is an added advantage
