Media Officer – Industrial Development Board - Moratuwa

The Industrial Development Board is the premier service provider of the development of industries of Sri Lanka has been established under the Industrial Development Act No. 36 of 1969.The Industrial Development Board has decided to obtain the service of an experienced Media Officer. 

Qualifications:

• Should have passed G. C. E. Advanced Level 
• Five (5) years of experience in media reporting 
• Ability of digital creative works 
• Ability to work in English language 
• Understanding about social media 
• Should be a Sri Lankan citizen 
• Should have a good moral character 
• Should be below 45 years of age 
• Applicants should have good mental and physical health to discharge the duties of the post well and be prepared to get assignments or work in any nominated locations of the country.

Requirements:

• To give media publicity about the activities of institutions 
• Coordinate with printed, electronic media organizations in publishing news.
• Reporting news items to the media 
• Doing propaganda through social media about the activities of this institution. 

Salary Scale:

Payments will be made on an assignment basis for completed work.

Age Limit: 

Should be below 45 years of age
