About the Role:

 

This is a full-time on-site role for a Talent Acquisition Intern located in Colombo. The Talent Acquisition Intern will assist with full-life cycle recruiting, including sourcing and attracting candidates, interviewing, and hiring. The intern will also support employer branding initiatives and contribute to a positive candidate experience.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist in posting job advertisements across various recruitment platforms.
  • Screen resumes and applications to shortlist qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews, assessments, and follow-ups.
  • Maintain accurate and well-organised candidate records and databases.
  • Support recruitment events, career fairs, and employer branding initiatives.
  • Assist with onboarding processes and new hire orientation activities.
  • Collaborate with recruiters to develop and implement effective sourcing strategies.
  • Participate in interviews and provide structured feedback to hiring managers.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

 

Required Skills:

 

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Prior experience or coursework in recruitment/HR is an advantage. (Minimum of 6 months internship in HR/TA is required).
