Role Summary

Project Management internship will provide an ideal candidate the ability to demonstrate the capabilities of a responsible leader, work directly with experienced professionals and teams for project delivery. The intern will have the opportunity to work on projects from top customers in the industry using project management methodologies, tools and resources.

Job Description:

• Provide necessary assistance to Project Managers to plan and manage projects from start to finish
• Adhere to the PM methodology with standards for governance, documentation, and data
• Track progress towards project goals and provide status updates regularly to all internal and external stakeholders
• Liaise with customers, internal stakeholders and principals to address needs, concerns, and expectations of the stakeholders in planning and executing the project
• Assist Project Managers to establish, maintain and carry out communication with all internal and external stakeholders in an effective and collaborative manner
• Identify, maintain and provide mitigation/action plan for project risks and issues
• Provide necessary assistance to evaluate and monitor schedules, budgets and other project activities
• Update domain knowledge through available opportunities
• Provide inputs to improve existing project management practices in the organization
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
• Provide the necessary assistance required to complete the project deliverables, obtain the sign-off and advise the business to complete invoicing and close the project or hand over to support
• Assisting in managing the complete project implementation life cycle, in collaboration with the customer
• Project Management Training, Leadership training are recommended
• Mentoring, know-how transfer, and conferences to gain new knowledge of current industry trends are recommended
• Provide other functions with support beyond the scope of responsibilities in order to achieve common organizational goals
• Undertake any other business-related tasks requested by the Line Manager
