Assistant Manager, IT – Cinnamon Bentota Beach

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Manager, IT to join Cinnamon Bentota Beach. Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is Sri Lanka's largest Hotel owner, with a portfolio of 17 Hotels and Resorts in both Sri Lanka and the Maldives. Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, one of the largest listed Conglomerates in Sri Lanka.

The Assistant Manager, IT will be accountable for executing the system administration strategy to ensure a smooth day-to-day business operation and effective user experience. You will be collaborating with Group IT to ensure security compliance is achieved and provide necessary infrastructure and application support while adhering to IT policies. While actively involved in PC/ Server Patching, you will be managing Azure tenants, including SaaS and PaaS. Furthermore, you will implement and update LOB applications while attending to troubleshooting whenever necessary. Furthermore, you will assist with the regular infrastructure hardware and software maintenance and perform MS SQL Database Maintenance and performance tuning effectively.

Are you adaptable yet driven to explore emerging technologies? Do you Possess In-depth knowledge of Microsoft platforms, including Windows Server and Windows desktop operating systems in the Active Directory environment? Are you acquainted with Virtualization, cloud computing, wireless technologies, mobile platforms, MS Azure, SCCM and Patch Manager console management? Do you have the ability to handle multiple projects at once? Do you have 3 – 4 years of related work experience in a similar role?
