About the job:

The Assistant Manager – Industrial Engineering heads the IE function at the product development phase. Key responsibilities include guiding the team to carry out methods study for various sample options and suggesting the optimum method. The role-holder is also responsible to provide inputs for preparing the tech pack, identifying improvements, finding Automation solutions, to eliminate and simplify processes to reduce SMV.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for overseeing Industrial Engineering activities in the Product Development stage (Costing, SMV).
Contribute to pre-production meetings, ensure effective communication of technical details of new styles to Plant IE teams, and monitor the achievement of production efficiencies.
Responsible for conducting process improvement and lean initiatives in the front end.
Provide guidance and training to Front End IE team, the Front End Digital tech pack team and be responsible for their performance
Responsible for indirect department efficiency improvements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Masters / Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering/ Clothing Technology with GSD License
5 to 9+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering in front end
Production IE experience will be an added advantage
