About the Job 

Qualifications:

1. A B.Sc. Special Degree in Physics obtained from a University recognized by the U.G.C.

Or

2. A B.Sc. General Degree in Physical Science with Physics as a Subject obtained from a University recognized by the U.G.C.

And

3. Post Graduate Diploma in the relevant field

Method of Recruitment: 

By a competitive written examination and/or a structured interview, conducted by the Council

Nature of Appointment: 

Permanent and entitlement of EPF and ETF

Salary Scale:

Rs. 91,650/- 2.480/-X 10, 3,450/- X 15 – 168, 200/- 

Basic Salary 

Rs. 71,700/- as at 2025.01.01 as per MSD Circular 01/2025 

Age Limit:

Should not be less than 22 years and not more than 45 years 

General Conditions:

• Should be a citizen of Sri Lanka 
• Should be physically and mentally fit to discharge the duties of the post and to serve in any part of the country
• Should be of good moral character
