Fabric & Trim Coordinator - MAS Intimates - Rathamalna

Embark on a journey of change with MAS. We are actively seeking an individual to join our dynamic team of changemakers as a Fabric & Trim Coordinator. This role would enable you to source or develop raw materials and colors, aligning with technical/aesthetic requirements in a timely manner, whilst adhering to customer/MAS performance protocols to enable smooth execution of bulk production. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Source and counter source raw materials to meet technical or aesthetic requirements of the product whilst considering supplier capability, price, delivery & minimum order levels & offer RM collections to customers in a presentable manner with the consultation/guidance of superiors if required.
• Develop / counter-develop & re-engineer raw materials to meet customer expectations & to support the business, whilst adhering to customer performance protocol with the consultation or guidance of superiors if required.
• Develop & follow up on all embellishments, raw material conversions, complying with the customer or product requirements & standards. 
• Conduct raw material testing related to moulding, bonding & other technologies related to the product development process to check bulk feasibility & risk assessment.
• Conduct, follow-up & assessment of all relevant test results of raw materials & products, adhering to customer requirements or critical path and finalize agreed levels for any deviation or disputes with relevant parties. 
• Execution of color development process of the styles adhering to the stipulated SOP, meeting customer expectations, standards, and critical path.
• Conduct relevant testing to identify appropriate garment care code and composition. 
• Update and upload necessary technical documents to customers. 
• Proper maintenance of physical standards, documents, and corresponding style progress charts of all technical aspects for each style or range.
• Effectively conduct pre-production discussions with relevant suppliers and manufacturing plants.
• Work on an agile business model connecting with suppliers, the business team & customers in a stipulated timeline. 
• Seek and extend support to superior & relevant parties, in making crucial decisions on non-conformance of raw material.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL

• Analytical Skill, Communication skills, Degree or Diploma from any reputed institute, Experience for more than 1‐2 years in a similar capacity. 
• Computer Literacy.
• Advanced level from a science background preferred. 
• Minimum 1‐2 years (either lab & inspection in gmt manufacturing facility or front end) 
• Ability to handle the MS Office package
