About the job

Job Profile:

• Enhancing the current portfolio as per targets through a systematic approach to present the SME customer base
• Build & maintain a close rapport with the customers & be vigilant of the portfolio movement while taking necessary steps to ensure that the existing customer base is retained and grown in volumes consistently
• Increase the customer wallet share through cross-selling
• Increase trade and bank commissions, and foreign exchange from the SME portfolio allocated
• Ensure high standard of service through follow-up of day-to-day problems by liaising with the Branch Manager and support divisions
• Achieve operational efficiency and excellent customer service in servicing the Business Banking customers of the Bank and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies

Special Skills:

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Basic knowledge in credit evaluation of SME clients
• Knowledge in KYC and anti-money laundering law

Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Bank with 2 years in Sales and Marketing/Relationship Management

OR

• Minimum of 4 years experience in a Bank with 2 years in Sales and Marketing/Relationship Management, A part qualification in Banking or CIMA/CIM/ACCA/ACA or completion of 2 years of a 3-year Degree Program
