POSITION: SAP Project Manager

LOCATION: Gampaha District – Dompe, Sri Lanka

SALARY: LKR 300,000 – 400,000 Gross (Negotiable)

OVERVIEW:

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced and results-driven SAP Project Manager to lead and oversee SAP-related initiatives, including implementations, upgrades, and module integrations. The role involves managing cross-functional teams, ensuring the timely delivery of projects, and aligning SAP solutions with business objectives to drive operational efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and manage end-to-end SAP project lifecycle, from planning to execution and delivery.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Oversee SAP system enhancements, upgrades, and integrations with other business systems.
• Prepare detailed project plans, define timelines, allocate resources, and monitor progress.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project execution.
• Provide training, guidance, and support to end-users for SAP systems and processes.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and best practices in SAP project management.
• Collaborate with functional teams to optimize SAP modules for manufacturing operations.

PRE-REQUISITES:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience managing SAP projects (implementation, upgrade, or module integration).
• Demonstrated ability to prepare project plans, manage timelines, and ensure quality deliverables.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
• Current Managers and Assistant Managers with relevant SAP experience are encouraged to apply.
