KPMG Transaction Services provides advisory support for mergers and acquisitions. The services range from assisting in the formulation of corporate strategy, pre-deal evaluation, business integration planning, deal structuring, comprehensive due diligence, post-acquisition integration support, to exit strategies. With over two decades of experience in assisting Sri Lanka’s corporate sector, we have advised clients on a diverse number of sectors, on some of the largest transactions in the country, by leveraging our capabilities, networks, and experience.

The ideal candidate should:

• An individual with the drive, passion, and ability to successfully complete tasks while taking accountability for the work allocated and performed
• Be able to demonstrate the ability to work within a team, portraying commitment to achieve tasks and deadlines, whilst creating strong client relationships.
• Be fluent in their communication and should demonstrate proficiency in their ability to write and speak in English.
• Be able to communicate with impact, build trust, and possess a strong personality, thereby initiating and leading open conversations with teams, clients and other stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail, along with the ability to interpret financial statements to provide value-added analysis.
• Be able to work under challenging situations and work under pressure, including late work when necessary.
• Conversant in/Willing to learn analytical software and tools, mandatorily Microsoft Office packages.
• Be conversant in SLFRS and the requirements of the Sri Lankan GAAP, including recent updates to the standards and new developments
• Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.

Specific requirements for the post of 

Analyst:

• Qualified in ACCA/CIMA/CA. A holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in business or finance would be an added advantage.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a reputed audit firm or in a financial analysis role in a reputed corporate entity

Trainee Analyst:

• Be part-qualified in ACCA/CIMA/CA. A holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in business or finance would be an added advantage.
• 1 – 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a reputed audit firm or in a financial analysis role in a reputed corporate entity

Interns:

Student of a professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CA)
