Position Overview

We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer - MERN Intern to join our development team. As an intern, you will work closely with senior developers and contribute to building applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js). This is a fantastic opportunity for you to gain hands-on experience in web development and enhance your skills in a real-world environment. (Kandy-based candidates preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to design, build, and maintain scalable and responsive web applications using React, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
• Assist in creating both front-end and back-end components of web applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with a focus on quality.
• Participate in code reviews and debugging to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
• Support the integration of APIs and third-party services.
• Learn and implement best practices in software development, including version control (Git), agile workflows, and continuous integration.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern front-end technologies.
• Familiarity with MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js).
• Basic knowledge of databases and server-side technologies.
• Passion for web development and eagerness to learn new technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Having an HND or recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
