We are seeking a Legal Intern with a passion for artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. If you’re curious about how law and AI intersect, and you’re eager to be part of developing responsible, forward-thinking AI products, we want to hear from you.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong legal foundation and a mandatory interest in AI, whether you’ve explored prompt engineering, experimented with generative AI tools, or are fascinated by the legal challenges of machine learning systems. Experience in the tech sector is an added advantage, but not required.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide legal and hands-on support across AI product development, focusing on issues like data use, intellectual property, privacy, and risk.
• Work with product and engineering teams to align AI development with legal and ethical best practices

• Use your understanding of prompt engineering to help shape product functionality and user experience

• Research and interpret emerging laws and regulations related to AI and digital technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Laws or equivalent legal qualification.
• Strong interest in AI, generative technologies, and prompt engineering (experience using AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc. is a plus).
• Clear, strategic legal thinking and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced environments.

Preferred but Not Mandatory:

• Prior experience working in the tech or software industry.
• Familiarity with data protection laws, IP law, or IT law.
• Exposure to product development or legal tech projects.
