The Role:

• Lead the Engineering Division covering project execution, technical design, and after-sales operations.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate all project activities to ensure timely completion within budget and quality standards.
• Oversee HVAC system design, installation, testing, and commissioning for commercial and large-scale projects.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 quality systems, CIDA EM1 registration requirements, and internal company standards.
• Guide and mentor a multidisciplinary team across Projects, QS, and After-Sales divisions.
• Collaborate with Sales & Marketing and After-Sales to achieve departmental performance targets and profitability.
• Drive continuous improvement in project management practices and technical innovations, especially VRF, chillers, and energy-efficient HVAC solutions.

The Person:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university and Minimum 10 years’ experience in HVAC or MEP project management, with at least 3 years in a senior managerial role.

OR

• HNDE, NDT, or equivalent in Mechanical/Building Services Engineering from a recognized institution with a Post-graduate qualification in Building Services / Project Management or MBA and Minimum 15 years’ experience in HVAC/MEP project management, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial role.
• Proven technical knowledge of VRF/VRV systems, chillers, controls, BMS and large-scale HVAC implementation.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to manage multiple complex projects.
• Experience working with international brands and knowledge of local market conditions in Sri Lanka is an advantage.
