Over the last three and a half decades - MAS Intimates has differentiated itself in the global fashion industry through its innovation mindset, strong technical competency, and sustainability initiative. We are on the lookout for a dynamic and an energetic individual to join the Mechanical team as a Machine Engineer (Executive Work Level). This role would enable you to Ensure continuous improvements involving sewing machinery by aligning with the latest technological advancements in the field, to ensure uninterrupted production flow and a safe working environment within the organization that optimizes resource utilization. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively research and be up to date on the latest technological advancements in relevant fields, in order to conduct continuous improvements to simplify existing processes/functions and periodically upgrade the plant body of knowledge in terms of technology and trends.
• Connect with respective individuals in the Value Stream to support Digitization/Autonomation processes and initiatives to enhance productivity.
• Connect with the Training School Industrial Engineering Executive, introduce & implement possible new innovations at Training School.
• Maintain and upgrade the Skill Matrix of Mechanics by identifying skill gaps and monitoring their training and development process in order to have a strong pool of Mechanics.
• Ensure all sewing/non-sewing machinery align with all Health, Safety and Compliance guidelines to maintain zero accidents.
• Conduct awareness programs and ensure adherence to energy saving initiatives in their respective areas to conserve energy and reduce waste at the business unit.
• Conduct inspection and calibration of special machines to maintain the standard working condition of machines.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Degree in Engineering preferably in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Strong analytical skills with an innovative mindset.
• 2 years of related experience in the relevant field. 
• Knowledge on Lean Manufacturing tools.
