Executive - Cutting - MAS Intimates Pallekele

MAS Intimates, the largest division of MAS Holdings, provides design and manufacturing solutions for leading global lingerie brands. This role would enable you to coordinate with planning & production departments and monitor all operations/processes of the cutting department. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend pre-production meetings and educate the team with regard to the cutting operations such as style, cut methods in order to facilitate smooth operations.
• Execute daily & weekly cutting plan based on weekly/monthly loading together with IE and Senior Executive or Manager Cutting to meet production demand.
• Ensure the daily plan is executed without any quality deviations such as fabric rejects, unapproved cut panels, etc., to maintain continuous flow.
• Coordinate with Planning, PCU, Stores and fabric inspection teams to prioritise orders.
• Establish and maintain relationships, and develop the performance and competency levels of employees via required training interventions.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Degree in Engineering, preferably in Textile and Clothing.
• Prior experience would be highly advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills with an innovative mindset.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools.
