About the job

Role:

Perform data analysis, statistical modeling, and financial forecasting to support business decision-making.
Contribute to the IFRS-17 implementation project and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Conduct experience studies, including the documentation and monitoring of trends.
Conduct product profitability studies and provide insights for product development and pricing strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives and improve overall business performance.
Prepare detailed actuarial reports and present findings to senior management in a clear and concise manner.
Perform any other actuarial-related duties as assigned by management.

Job Pre-Requisites:

A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Actuarial Science from a recognized university.
At least two passes (or more) in Actuarial exams from a recognized Actuarial institution.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an actuarial role with a reputable organization, especially in policy liability valuation, experience studies, product pricing, and regulatory reporting under RBC.
Strong IT skills, particularly in R and Python.
Knowledge and experience with actuarial modeling software (e.g., Prophet).
Strong attention to detail, with an understanding of the Actuarial Control Cycle (ACC) and best practices.
Progress toward Associate qualification in actuarial exams.
Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
