The Role
As a Core Network Engineer, you would be working collaboratively on core network operations for Huawei. This will be an exciting role for you if you would like to expand into new horizons as this role will include key responsibilities such as:
- Designing and implementing cloud core network architecture for the mobile and fixed network including service delivery solution, HLD/LLD design, software commissioning, integration, acceptance, software upgrade, service migration, and maintenance.
- being able to manage core network operations, monitoring and optimizing the performance of PS & CS NEs like MSC, MGW, USN, UGW, HSS, SPS, IMS and etc.
- being able to support offshore projects remotely or on-site for the operators in trouble-shooting, issue recovering, KPI, and QoS analysis for packet core and circuit switching networks.
- providing technical support to customers on core network devices through remote and on-site troubleshooting, including solving technical problems, faults, and device upgrading
- implementing new core network equipment, commissioning, and testing
- preparing weekly/monthly KPI reports with improvement suggestions
This role would match your profile;
- If you possess a professional background in Telecommunications with a Master’s / Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications/Electronics
- If you have hands-on experience in Circuit Switched Core Network, and Packet Switched Core Network Operations and have a natural passion for the subject. Hands-on experience in VNFV platform operations & telecom services including 2G,3G,4G, and 5G technologies would be a distinct advantage
- having a thorough understanding of signaling protocols such as SS7, SIGTRAN, DIAMETER & SIP/SIP-I as well as processes and related methodologies
- having basic knowledge analysis in IP routing, MPLS protocol, and TCP/IP with consulting and project management experience
- being a motivated individual who would achieve shared goals and results by sincerely providing a helping hand to others
