Scope
The Group Head of Engineering heads the Engineering function for the Group across geographies, which includes the Corporate, Regions and Plant Engineering teams.
The role holder is responsible for setting up of functional strategies and KPIs, proactively engaging with core manufacturing teams on the Digitalization journey, scanning and deployment of evolving technologies & best practices, effective utilization of group CAPEX and OPEX spends, supporting and developing the team through coaching and mentoring and adherence to compliance and EHS requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the Group Engineering pillar
- Responsible for effectively strategizing and deploying Engineering KPIs and budgets across Brandix
- Drive engineering team engagement with core manufacturing processes to harness the benefits of digitization
- Provide leadership to Regions/ Plants through rigorous functional reviews and technical guidance to the team
- Drive strategic synergies and partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Lead and Direct the Engineering team across the regions, Plants and Group
Qualifications
- Masters in Engineering, Chartered Engineer
- Over 15 years’ experience in the Engineering function, with strong exposure to engineering best practices and evolving technologies
- Minimum 5 years of experience in heading the Engineering function for a large organization, spear-heading implementation of Engineering best practices
