Responsibilities
- Planning and execution of product / solution development in compliance with the HLPD and LLPD.
- SPOC for the Product architect in the development of HLPD and LLPD and overall project.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to team.
- Conduct training and to the project teams on technologies and product architectures.
- Regular Code reviews and guidance to team members to improve product quality.
- Take ownership of publish product release artifacts to QA and delivery.
- Assist Product Architect to handle / resolve L3 issues.
- Prepare & conduct Technical workshops and trainings for internal & external stakeholders.
Prerequisites
- A bachelor’s degree in Data Science and Engineering or equivalent, and 3-5 years of experience in development and in managing teams.
- Hands on experience in Data pipeline tools (Apache Flume, Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, Apache Flink, Cassandra, MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Hands on experience in Data Visualization tools (Grafana, Superset, Tableau)
- Strong knowledge in working with Hadoop echo system (Apache Hadoop, Yarn, Apache Mesos, Apache Hive, Apache HBase)
- Programming skills (Java, Python)
- Strong knowledge in Docker and Kubernetes
- Hands on experience in Cloud Infrastructure (GCP/ AWS)
- Experience in managing Production grade distributed systems.
- Experience in Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery tools
- Experience using team collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, Teams, etc.) and source control tools (Git, Bitbucket etc.)
- Exposure into Agile methodology and Scrum
