Responsibilities
- Provide support for environments such as Microsoft Azure, Azure Log Analytics, Windows Virtual Desktop, VMware Horizon VDI, Windows 10 Autopilot, Windows Group Policy, Active Directory, Scripting PowerShell, VBScript, JSON, and SQL Queries.
- Receive tickets via the ITSM ticketing tool from other teams and swiftly identify, troubleshoot, and provide solutions for all Incidents and problems in supported environments.
- Work with other Teams to fulfill service requests related to the supporting environments.
- Engineer any new solutions for all supported environments as they arise.
- Document Solutions for all Incidents and execution steps for requests in supported environments.
- Package applications into MSI and/or Intune formats for deployments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology or related field, or relevant work experience. Any relevant technical certifications would be beneficial.
- 5+ years' career experience in defining desktop engineering standards and application packaging.
- Experience with Software Packaging using Flexera AdminStudio.
- Detailed documentation skills.
- Familiar with Intune software deployment.
- Experience with Windows 10 Auto Pilot.
- MSIX packaging.
- Windows 10 experience OS imaging, OS deployment, Event viewer, registry knowledge.
- PowerShell scripting.
- Group Policy, Active Directory
- Prior experience using Flexera Admin studio or other comparable packaging tools.
- Familiar with Microsoft MDT (Microsoft Deployment tool Kit).
- Prior experience using Microsoft Admin Tool Kit.
- Familiar with Performance Monitor, Reg monitor File monitor.
- VMWare, Hyper-V experience.
- Self-motivated; Ability to embrace change & adjust the approach
- Fluent in English.
