Senior Technical lead
Description of the Role:
The Senior Technical Lead is responsible for designing and implementing technical enhancements and features for custom-developed software systems and enhancing and supporting these systems to meet business goals.
The role holder will also validate the design and technical specifications for new enhancements.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze the business requirement documents and interact with business and functional heads to understand the new software requirements
- Prepare the estimations and plans for requirements related to tools and technologies
- Identify the technical requirements based on business requirement documents
- Define technical specifications and design the framework and the execution methodology for new requirements, provide necessary feedback and ensure errors are rectified
- Prepare the high-level design document and ensure all functional and non-functional requirements are captured
- Ensure the design framework is in line with the organization-wide design and development strategy
- Contribute to and manage all aspects of software development including making architectural decisions
- Develop and maintain the software in selected language following coding standards and the defined development practices
- Conduct risk assessments with respect to architecture and prepare a risk mitigation plan
- Work with various stakeholders during planning and deployment phases and ensure the solutions are deployed as per the plan
- Provide technical direction and guidance for software developed by the team
- Ensure the software development team adheres to the defined coding standards and best practices
- Mentor and train the software development team on new technologies
- Ensure the team achieves the performance and quality objectives, monitor the team productivity and develop methodologies to increase the team productivity
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
- Knowledge in NodeJS, Java or .Net, SQL
Experience:
6 to 8 years of industry experience with strong knowledge in architecture and design principles
