Senior Quality Assurance Engineer
You will be contributing, as an active member of the Creo360 team, to help deliver quality software components. You may need to work with the business to clarify detailed software features and requirements. Will work to ensure the software deliverables have passed quality gates using available/appropriate tools. Actively participate with Creo360 team in daily scrums and participate/follow Agile process.
Will adhere to standard security coding practices (SOLID) to ensure application is free of most common coding vulnerabilities. Will thoroughly QA the software and write appropriate automatic and regression tests for automated testing.
Job Requirements
- You must be someone highly self-motivated and directed, with a keen attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, equivalent experience will be considered
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with quality assurance testing of a complex business system
- Experience creating automated testing suites using 3rd party tools like Selenium, Cucumber or other similar tools.
- Ability to interpret and discuss technical information with a non-technical audience
- Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum teams preferred
- Experience with Azure DevOps and TFS/GIT preferred
- Perform testing, certification and documentation of all interfaces added
- Assist level two support technicians with all end user beta testing for interfaces, projects and software releases.
- Analytical and critical thinking; able to see like a customer and develop solutions that meet a need or uncover a new opportunity.
Technical skills/experience
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test scenarios, test cases and test scripts
- Perform front end and back-end testing.
- Document and evaluate test results and defects, track and manage defects with the development team and business units to troubleshoot issues
- Manage software bug and regression escalations from support department and effectively document reproduction steps to development team
- Maintain traceability of business requirements through test plans and cases.
- Experience with following technologies: JavaScript/Typescript, Python, SQL, Web Services, .NET, JSON/XML, HTTP, WSDL, Linux, Windows is a huge plus.
- Familiar with Web frameworks like AngularJs or ReactJs.
- Familiar with DevOps Pipeline tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, TravisCl, Azure Pipelines
- Familiar interacting with REST API endpoints
- Familiar with automated testing tools, e.g. cypress
- Has a good understanding of asynchronous design patterns (async, await, threads, tasks)
- Able to breakdown activities into well identifiable tasks and efficiently adapt to technological environment.
- Some familiarity with cloud development environments (Azure, AWS, GCloud).
- Perform testing for multiple projects and software releases, including integration, systems, regression, performance & end user acceptance testing.
