Senior Accounts Executive
We are on the lookout or a Senior Accounts Executive with sound financial and analytical skills who an thrive in a competitive, fast -paced working environment.
You would be required to;
• Forecast and plan company payments on a daily basis, ensuring a steady cashflow
• Validate payments against supporting documents provided by respective business units
• Scrutinise and finalise monthly sales, prepare and validate invoices
• Ensure financial statutory compliance of the organisation including the calculation, timely payment, preparation of various monthly, quarterly and annual reporting schedules pertaining to corporate taxes and other statutory payments
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and another accounting analysis as required by management
• Manage the organisation's petty cash flow within the stipulated organisational controls and policies
• Prepare schedules and reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis and as required
• Liaise with banks, auditors, government institutions, other finance institutions and vendors to
ensure smooth operations
Our Requirements Include
• Full or part qualification of CA/ACCA/CIMA
• A minimum of 3 years' accounting and finance experience in executive or senior executive level of a reputed organisation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Particularly MS Excel. MS Word)
• Familiarity with QuickBooks accounting software
• Ability to financially assess and manage sensitive information and conduct work in a confidential, honest and reliable manner
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both in English & Sinhala
• Age between 25 - 35 years
• Detail -oriented; ability to prioritise and work within a deadline -oriented dynamic environment
• Ability to work both independently as well as in a team atmosphere
