Position Summary
Our client is a global leader for mechanical, electric mechanical, and access control solutions. Sri Lanka which comes under as an Emerging Market of the client is on the lookout for a Retail Sales Manager for one of their best-selling products.
This position is responsible for the entire retail sales channel in Sri Lanka. The candidate should be able to handle the existing and new channel partners and also should have good knowledge in merchandising branding, and regional promotion. We would be very interested to talk to a candidate who has experience in handling a general hardware distribution operation in Sri Lanka.
Job Duties
- Able to handle island-wide dealer network.
- Evaluate the creditworthiness of each counter.
- Coordinate with distributors and dealers.
- Achieve pre-set sales targets /budgets.
- Organize retail promotion campaigns.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or above in a related stream.
- 3 to 5 years previous experience in a similar role, with Team Management experience.
Required Skills
- Analytical skills to identify the right sales counter.
- Shop merchandising skills.
- Product Branding Knowledge.
- Ability to organize promotion.
- Motivational skills to encourage counter sales people to promote our product.
- Ability to speak in Tamil.
- Knowledge about Sri Lanka Road map.
- Valid driving license.
- Willingness to travel extensively in Sri Lanka.
