Associate - Finance Operations - ITP - MAS Legato Malabe

Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS. We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to execute timely & accurate payment processing for assigned SBUs, to consistently exceed the expectations of the customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carry out credit payable activities and ensure proper mechanisms are put in place to settle money within the set credit period.
• Achieve monthly targets for Goods Receipt or Invoice Receipt and advances in assigned SBUs in order to meet organizational demands.
• Implement lean initiatives to eliminate waste and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Assist with the continuous improvement of the processes to achieve an effective and efficient way of working.
• Identify and implement processes or system improvements, or developments in order to facilitate an efficient business process.
• Conduct financial investigations, prepare reports, assist internal and external audits and advise on matters such as suspected fraud and duplicate payments to maintain internal control systems while ensuring compliance with financial legislation and standards.
• Ensure timely & accurate payment processing and/or liability booking for assigned SBUs.
• Support technology-driven process improvements by identifying automation opportunities and assisting in system testing and implementation. 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS 

• Degree in Finance or Financial Accounting or Economics, or CIMA, ACCA or ICASL or equivalent professional qualification.
• 1.5 to 3 years of work experience in the field. 
• Good communication skills.
