Job Requirements:
· Responsible for the support and maintenance of the multiple node oracle, EBS databases and applications on R12, oracle applications R12, patching, cloning, Upgrade.
· Troubleshooting skills like concurrent manager issues, apache issues, setup custom managers, performance tuning.
· Good working experience of installation, administration and troubleshooting of RAC 11g & 12c advantage (Real Application Clusters).
· Platform migration experience of database and ORACLE EBS.
· Experience in performance Tuning of SQL queries and database.
· ASM knowledge ( Create /Alter/Drop Disk Group).
· Installations/upgrades (DB and Apps upgrade), maintenance of objects using Adadmin, DB upgrades.
· Expertise in patching, cloning and refreshes, exports and imports, configuration change management, system admin activities relating Oracle Applications as well as database.
· Expertise in OEM 12c, oracle (2442), RMAN configurations, backups, RMAN cloning.
· Good knowledge on backups and recovery scenarios and hot & cold Backups, falsh back.
· Maintaining the system using AD utilities and auto configuration.
· Troubleshooting skills like concurrent manager issues, apache issues, setup custom managers, setup and configure parallel concurrent processing.
· Responsible for analyzing the need for applying the patches to the Applications database - Responsible for database (one-off patches, patchsets, CPUs/SPUs, PSUs, and RPUs) on standalone/RAC environment.
· Use utilities such as adop, adadmin, adpatch, adctrl, adrelink and admerge.
· Define/recommend/maintain database standards and architecture.
· Future Release management for database/instance and impact analysis.
· Experience in 10G/11G/12c R2 RAC, Oracle 11g /12c applications.
· Experience in oracle codetree installation, database creation, upgrade and patching, oracle database performance tuning and oracle database access management.
· Provide support for on call escalations and doing root cause analysis of given issue.
· Independently resolve tickets within agreed SLA of ticket volume and time.
· Adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements and company policies.
· Work on value adding activities such knowledge base update & management, training freshers, coaching analysts.
· Ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through first call resolution and minimum rejected resolutions / reopen cases.
· An excellent communicator, organized, multi-task oriented and able to meet deadlines, and complete assignments with minimal supervision.
