OPERATIONS EXECUTIVE - PORTS & SHIPPPING
We are looking for suitably qualified individuals to join our team in Hambantota in the capacity of Operations Executive - Ports & Shipping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and attend to all operational activities related to port agency, ships husbandry and bunkering.
- Maintain and develop close relationships with authorities, HIPG and other service partners.
- Gather market intelligence related to the assigned port.
- The selected candidate will be entrusted with assisting the execution of new projects and assignments as well as being the front line representative of the company in the Hambantota region.
Person Specifications:
- Minimum 2 years’ of industry specific working experience.
- Experience and knowledge required in port agency operations, shipping agency operations, ships husbandry, customs clearance and freight forwarding.
- Knowledge and experience in handling petroleum products will be an added advantage.
- Living in close proximity or willingness to relocate to Hambantota.
