Business Development Executive at John Keells Research
Job Responsibilities
Business Development of assigned projects
- Manage the outcomes of R&D projects as Intellectual Property (IP) assets
- Develop Business Plans for commercializing outcomes of R&D projects and present to senior management under the guidance of supervisor
- Drive implementation of approved Business Plans
Business Development Process Improvement
- Continuously review Commercialization & Business Development process of JKR by looking into global best practices/benchmarks.
Coordination of Technology Strategy/Forecasting process
- Coordinate Technology Strategy Sessions for J KR team
- Collate, document and maintain a repository of the strategies developed
- Engage as a member of the John Keells Research team actively participating in team meetings and innovation related initiatives
The ideal candidate should posess;
- A Bachelors Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) Field
- A professional qualification such as CIMA or CFA would be an added advantage
- 1 years experience in a Business Development role in a Science & Technology based industry would be an added advantage
- The ability to work independently, show initiative, manage multiple tasks and prioritize assignments.
- A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English.
