The Job

• Planning and execution of operational procedures such as monitoring, fault identification, troubleshooting and rectification etc of Ericsson 2G, 3G, LTE network operations using the relevant tools and systems to make the coverage available to customer with minimum downtime
• Provide 24 hour On-call support and quick expert guidance and recommendation to Network Operations Centre/ Dialog Network Services -regional staff/ colleagues to resolve technical issues that affect Ericsson 2G, 3G, LTE network operations in an effective manner to minimise the downtime
• Conduct resolutions for escalated issues from the team/Network Operations Centre/ Dialog Network Services -regional staff to minimise the impact on the customer service from network downtimes
• Identify any node/element that is not performing up to expectation and causing high cost to company to take corrective action
• Maintain the quality (software, hardware level) of the Ericsson 2G, 3G, LTE network systems through enhancing monitoring capabilities to facilitate the smooth running of the network
• Follow up /give support on trouble tickets that are initiated with vendor to get the resolution to all network issues (e.g. emergency, high, medium, low, consultation)
• Supervise and coordinate with Radio network planning, Transmission operations the execution of In house network roll out
• Execute site commissioning (both in house and Full Turn Key) by defining logically in the system to fulfill requirements from access network operations end to make the site funcional
• Evaluate and study new areas of improvements from industry standards and industry trends to implement best practices

Entry Requirements

The Person

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Telecommunication)
• Knowledge on WCDMA, GSM and LTE technologies Hands-on experience in above operations Ericsson 2G, 3G, LTE and OSS equipment handling
