Role Objective
▪ Capture and document end-user requirements on BI reporting and visualization/dashboards from BU's and data science team
▪ Design visualizations/dashboards based on various BI reporting requirements
▪ Optimize designs for usability, performance, flexibility, and testability
Responsibilities
▪ Design and build dashboards and other visualizations using data visualization tools like PowerBI
▪ Collaborate with Business stakeholders to understand data, reports, metrics, and dashboard requirements and deliver solutions in an effective manner and in alignment with BI Strategy and roadmap
▪ Perform data-cleansing, processing, and validation on the data subject to analyze, in order to ensure its quality
▪ Should also be able to handle assigned tasks in the capacity of individual contributors
▪ Should have experience of leading team/ guiding juniors to deliver high-quality dashboard
Qualifications
▪ Work experience: ~4+ years in designing and developing analytical solutions using tools like Power BI, SQL, Alteryx to derive business insights
▪ Education: University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics or related fields with an excellent academic record
Skills & Competencies required
– 4+ years of experience in designing and building visually appealing dashboards or visualization for commercial use using Spotfire, business algorithms/ scenario planners/, solving business problems using SQL automation/Alteryx
– Knowledge of Python/ R is good to have
– Strong hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI, D3.js, ggplot, Gephi, Plotly, Spotfire, Alteryx, SQL, and any other BI Platforms
– Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Access – Strong skills to work with business and analytics teams to elicit requirements and functionality
