Who You Are:
We are looking for a savvy Data Engineer to join our growing team of analytics experts. You will be responsible for expanding and optimizing our data and data pipeline architecture, as well as optimizing data flow and collection for cross-functional teams. You will support our software developers, database architects, and data analysts and data scientists on data initiatives and will ensure optimal data delivery architecture is consistent throughout ongoing projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- As a Python Developer, your role is to apply your knowledge set to fetch data from multiple online or private sources
- Develop a deep understanding of our vast data sources on the web and know exactly how, when, and which data to scrap, parse, map per defined schema and store this data
- Develop needed tools according to requirements for cloud based environments
- Work independently with little supervision to research and test innovative solutions
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong coding skills in any back-end languages (Python would be plus) with data scraping techniques, and also api handling
- Experience with cloud systems (aws)
- Experience work in remote team environment
