Intalent is a well-established professional Executive Search firm with over 5 plus years of excellence in the recruitment / executive search industry. One of our clients in the Software Technology industry is seeking a Data Developer to join their reputable company.

In this role, you will be responsible for,

Responsibilities:

Primarily, you will be focused on migrating existing data repositories from 3rd party systems to internally hosted read only systems within Company. This will involve working with project managers, business analysts, developers and the business to under the “As is” and how we move that into the Company estate.
You will review requirements from Technical or Business Analysts, as well as business stakeholders, and will be responsible for turning those requirements into a robust database which allows developers to interact with it in a performant and simplistic manner.
In addition you will provide support to existing solutions, including the resolution of high priority incidents in a timely and safe manner, in line with best practice.
Responsibilities include maintaining and enhancing existing databases & solutions, as well as working with new technologies including the Microsoft Azure Stack. You will be expecting to work closely with existing application development teams
You will be a key part of our growing development and mergers & acquisitions support team, and will need to play an active and enthusiastic role in improving our team’s capabilities.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in Data Development
Strong experience of SQL Server is essential
Experience/knowledge of any other database technologies would be desirable e.g. Oracle, MySQL & NoSQL
Experience/knowledge of Microsoft SSIS / SSAS / Power BI would be desirable
Applied experience of good quality development processes including code review, unit testing, coding standards, appropriate documentation
Knowledge of multiple formal development methodologies along with a good understanding of the IT industry and the implications of new technologies and processes for the wider business environment.
Will have superb communication skills and will understand, explain and present complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences in a persuasive and convincing manner
Able to build strong strategic relationships with internal and external partners (business and technical) demonstrating an expert opinion of our business aims and issues
Demonstrates a high level of professionalism, organisation, self-motivation and a desire for self-improvement
Demonstrable drive, self-motivation, determination to achieve results coupled with phenomenal customer service
Competent at understanding, analysing and interpreting data along with the ability to lead research and triage of complex technical problems
Able to deliver solutions in agreed timescales whilst learning and sharing knowledge with your team and others.
Able to deliver information with integrity and sensitivity
