Responsible for achieving or exceeding targeted sales of Ansell products within the assigned territory and vertical in line with the Ansell strategy. Works through distributors and end users by facilitating the development of promotional programs and assists in training of distributors’ sales force as well as promoting the Ansell brands, services and programs at end-user level. Have an overall objective to maximize conversions to the Ansell range and maintain recurrent business whilst creating a value sell proposition through end user loyalty


  • Sales target Achievement driven by Brand growth and Successful new product launches
  • Preparation of sales, Expense, Marketing budget and controlling the same.
  • Working with Distributor team and motivating them to grow Ansell Business
  • Experience of Conducting conferences / clinical meetings and new product launches and Conducting training programs
  • To achieve primary and secondary sales objectives within the limit of expense budgets.
  • Working with Registration consultants & trademark body.
  • Ensure correct usage of CRM and other sales applications.
  • Train and ensure adherence to sales process.
  • Products Promotion by self and in addition with Distributor sales team. Work with Marketing for necessary support to drive sales
  • Appointment of distributors wherever necessary & Liaising with distributors
  • Liaising with MoH and regulatory authorities
  • Liaising with government & private purchasing authorities



  • Minimum Science Graduate/Pharmacy graduate/ PGDM
  • MBA preferred

Job Experience

  • Prior experience in pharmacy sales (3-5 years): ideally in Surgical consumables/ medical devices / Pharmaceuticals preferred
  • Prior experience in multinational organizations preferred

Knowledge & Skills

  • Excellent Sales track record
  • Presentation and Negotiation skills with excellent Leadership skills to motivate and drive business
  • Professional and mature attitude towards resolving problems with a behavior competency to build relationships
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Good Communication & problem-solving skills
  • Computer literate in MS Office must
  • Language requirements are regionally specific (English and Sinhala are must)
  • Social attributes: Self driven – persistent on goal - focus on result
