The Assistant Manager - Projects is responsible to streamline processes for the Project Life Cycle and monitor task allocation. The role holder is also responsible to track the project milestones and ensure successful delivery of projects as per the defined Project Management methodology.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare the following Project Management documents in conjunction with any Project Assurance role, and agree on them with the project team:

       - Project brief, including the project product description
       - Benefits Review Plan
       - Project initiation documentation (and its components)
       - Stage/Exception Plans and their product descriptions
       - Work packages

  • Liaise with corporate functional teams to ensure that work is neither overlooked nor duplicated by related projects
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams/any external stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of projects as per the given budget  
  • Collaborate with the assigned project team members for successful completion of projects
  • Ensure that behavioral expectations of team members are established
  • Manage the information flow between the directing and delivering levels of the project
  • Ensure required information of the project/queries are communicated to the customer to facilitate the placement of orders on-time, as per project T&A 
  • Manage the production of the required products, taking responsibility for overall progress and use of resources, and initiating corrective action where necessary
  • Establish and manage the project's procedures - risk management, issue and change control, configuration management, and communication
  • Establish and manage the project controls - monitoring and reporting
  • Advise the project team of any deviations from the plan
  • Conduct touch-base between customer, project team and Nearshore Business Partner to update project progress and improve relationships

 
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/ Engineering/ any other relevant field
  • 5-6+ years of project management experience
