Position Summary:
You will own and define the digital landscape for Fortude; spearhead strategy and campaign launch set-up, drive execution through to analysis and make research-based recommendations to improve performance. If you aren't afraid to challenge, innovate, experiment, and move at a fast pace - this role is for you.

You will need to develop and implement effective digital brand-building and lead generation strategies for Fortude. You’ll brainstorm ideas to meet sales and marketing objectives, help execute plans and report on campaign results whilst closely working alongside the Head of Marketing and Communications to drive results.

In this role, you should be creative, results-oriented and have a penchant for great digital content (written, visual and video). An analytical mind and research skills are essential to this job too. Devising best-in-class strategies and conducting thorough research on industry-related topics and whilst spearheading ideas for existing and new digital mediums at Fortude. 

Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive knowledge in digital marketing technology and platforms, including analytics, social and advertising technology (SEO/SEM expert)

1. Experience with creating and managing backlinks

2. Execute tests, collect and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in organic campaigns

3. Track, report, and analyze website analytics

4. Perform ongoing keyword research, expansion, and optimization

5. Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests

6. Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience

  • Experience in Google analytics and Social platform analytics

1. Monitor brand mentions on the SERP, social channels, review blogs and traditional media for brand safety, back-linking options, keyword ideas and competitive intelligence.

  • Build brand equity and sales with integrated go-to-market propositions – Assist in post event/campaign analysis to understand ROI and make recommendations for future campaigns
  • Experienced in initiating and executing campaigns via content development, social media activities, viral marketing
  • Understand and analyze market and channel differentiations, interpret data, and identify areas of opportunity and growth
  • Understand key promotions/campaigns and how to optimize/improve them for future plans

  • Assist in developing the social media calendar, while managing and executing campaigns in line with brand guidelines and objectives
  • Drive digital content strategy, process and development
  • Identify brand growth opportunities and ideas based on data and research.
  • Drive brand and digital KPIs and put together ongoing dashboards for reporting
  • Lead content strategy to define integrated content (brand voice) that optimizes views and engagement
  • Plan and drive the team on operational and daily tasks - ensure completion
  • Maximise usage of marketing budget, whilst driving recommendations on tools etc.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications (ideally with an emphasis on digital marketing) or related and/or equivalent experience preferred (5+ years relevant work experience in digital and social marketing)
  • Relevant experience in digital marketing, especially in performance marketing, SEM/ SEO, email marketing related business
  • Strong business sense with analytical abilities and creative thinking
  • Strong project management skills, performance driven, detail-minded and self-motivated
  • Assist in creating briefs for new/upcoming campaigns tied to key product launches and innovation pipeline, tied to overall brand content and digital activation strategy
  • Possesses a working knowledge and real-world experience in planning, managing and executing web, digital and social media initiatives
  • Experience in website development is an additional
  • Aptitude for market research, analysis and campaign evaluation with the ability to translate quantitative information into creative strategies
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and meets deadlines in timely manner
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • Able to perform detailed work with a high degree of accuracy
