We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer - Test Automation to join our Research and Development Centre in Colombo and be a part of our team of 300+ problem solvers who build brilliant tech, influencing billions of users globally.
It’s ideal if you are with:
- 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a minimum of 1 year experience as a Senior QA Engineer.
- Strong hands-on experience in both manual testing and test automation.
- Strong knowledge in QA Automation tools/frameworks such as Playwright (preferred), Selenium, Cypress, Jest, Cucumber.
- Knowledge and the ability to write Typescript/React will be a definite advantage.
- Good knowledge and experience in relational databases and SQL.
- Experience in working in a CI/CD environment.
- Good knowledge of API and performance testing.
- Experience in tools such as Postman, Apache JMeter is mandatory.
- Good knowledge and experience with Scrum and Agile development practices.
- SQA certifications such as ISTQB/CSTE will be a definite advantage.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to directly communicate with clients are required.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent team player, with the ability to work well with a diverse group of people.
It’s ideal if your expertise is to:
- Have a thorough understanding of the business/product requirements.
- Test planning, Test design, Test case creation, Test execution, defect, and status reporting.
- Define, follow, and take ownership of the QA process in the project.
- Keep up to date with the project deadlines.
- Engage in knowledge sharing to ensure team members have a clear idea of the business requirements.
- Build strong work relationships with the client's product management, development, and delivery teams.
- Review junior team members’ work and provide constructive feedback.
